Use of sticky traps can sometimes be an effective method to exterminate roaches. Placing traps along the walls is a good idea since roaches tend to follow edges. Traps which use a pheromone are more effective. Concentrate your traps on areas of high activity. Because traps attract roaches, they should be used only in conjunction with the prevention steps listed earlier.
Roach Control TIP: Using a roach powder that contains boric acid will solve just about any roach problem. Roaches will track this stuff back to their nests and the whole nest will be wiped out, once again eliminating the need for an exterminator!! If you want to use toxic methods to eliminate roaches, choose toxic controls such as diatomaceous earth (DE) and boric acid. Be sure to read and follow all instructions for any compounds used.
